Youth In Outer Space is an instrumental noise rock / shoegaze trio based in Athens, Greece. They make noise through screaming guitars, fuzzy basslines and smashing drumlines, intertwined with a cinematic feeling, producing a genre they themselves call post-soundtrack.

Their main inﬂuences are bands such as The Clash, Joy Division, The Cure, Happy Mondays, Interpol and A Place To Bury Strangers .
The The band consists of Elias Kostakopoulos (guitar), Elias Michael (bass) and John Boulis (drums), previously playing in bands such as Dead Buildings and Wonky Doll and the Echo. They are currently working on their ﬁrst full-length album
